Chaperones are needed for the upcoming Marching Band season! We need help at both home and away football games, parades and competitions. All chaperones must be members of the Band Booster Association and have completed the required volunteer background check and be in possession of a CD volunteer ID badge.

Mark your calendar, the September Band Booster meeting is on Tuesday, September 1 at 7:30 PM in the Band Room. Football and band competition season is upon us, so the next two months will be packed with events and the Booster Meeting is a great place to ask questions. We hope to see you there!

Many of you may already be aware from attending meetings that the District has a new policy on Volunteers, effective July 1st of this year. This is a new State regulation, and is only being enforced by the District.
Starting July 1st, ALL adults who have consistent contact with students will need to have all three clearances on file with the district. This includes the Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Check and FBI Fingerprints. Effective July 25, 2015, Governor Wolf has waived the fee for the Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Check. You may sign an affidavit form to be exempt from the FBI clearance if you have lived in Pennsylvanin for more than 10 years. Once you have obtained the necessary paperwork, you must schedule an appointment at the Administration building (717)545-4703.

The Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association is an organization of parents, alumni, and friends who support music education at Central Dauphin High School. The Band Boosters generally meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Band Room at Central Dauphin High School.
