Many of you may already be aware from attending meetings that the District has a new policy on Volunteers, effective July 1st of this year. This is a new State regulation, and is only being enforced by the District.
Starting July 1st, ALL adults who have consistent contact with students will need to have all three clearances on file with the district. This includes the Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Check and FBI Fingerprints. The first two are $10 each and the FBI Fingerprint is $27. You may sign an affidavit form to be exempt from the FBI clearance if you have lived in Pennsylvanin for more than 10 years.

Summer is coming and so is our annual Golf-a-RAMa outing. Golf-a-RAMa will take place at beautiful Sportsman's Golf Course; registration is at 12:30 and shotgun start is at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 12. The day is full of contests, prizes, food and fun! School is just about over, so it is time to start thinking about BAND CAMPS! This summer, there will be a series of 3 mini band camps and the traditional 2 week band camp in August. Attendance at band camps is mandatory. Band members should bring water to all band camps.
Mini-Band Camp Dates:
Monday - Wednesday, June 22 - 24 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Monday - Wednesday, July 6 - 8 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Monday - Wednesday, July 20 - 22 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
August Band Camp Dates:
Monday - Friday, August 3 - 7
Monday - Friday August 10 - 14

The Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association is an organization of parents, alumni, and friends who support music education at Central Dauphin High School. The Band Boosters generally meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Band Room at Central Dauphin High School.
