The annual CDHS Jazz Band concerts at Knoebels and all-band picnic is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th beginning at noon.  All current and alumni band students and their families are invited but we do ask that you RSVP to mel4128@comcast.net. by May 15th.  The Boosters will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, paper products and drinks and we ask that everyone bring a dessert or side dish to share.  Food will be served around noon time and then again later in the afternoon.  Pavillion 'F' is reserved for us.  Jazz students will ride the bus and receive free ride-all-day wristbands.  Everyone else must provide their own transportation and pay for their rides however admission to the park (and concerts) is free.  For directions and more info about Knoebels check out their website at www.knoebels.com.

All band students, parents, families and friends are invited to the annual Band Banquet on Friday, May 31.   Students from all band department ensembles are invited to this event; this includes Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensembles, Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Indoor Guard, Indoor Majorettes, Indoor Drumline and Musical Pit Orchestra.  Advanced reservation and payment must be received by May 15.  Click here more information and to download the reservation form.

Are you thinking about scheduling your summer 2013 vacation?  Please keep in mind that band camps are scheduled periodically throughout the summer.  Mini band camp dates are:  June 17 - 19, July 8 - 10 and July 22 - 24.  Formal band camp is scheduled from August 5 through August 16.  Band camp is MANDATORY for all marching band participants.
